biocat 2006 – 3rd International Congress on Biocalalysis
The concept of biocat is based on an interdisciplinary approach integrating the know-how of well acknowledged biologists, biochemists, chemists and engineers from academia and industry.
The DBU-supported meeting will focus on the presentation of the latest results in the rapidly growing field of biocatalysis. The major topics to be addressed are:
- Screening, enzyme discovery, evolution and design
- Structure-function analysis and modelling
- Efficient systems for recombinant enzyme production
- Biotransformation under non-natural conditions
- Conversion of biomass
- Bioprocess engineering and downstream processing
- Green chemistry and sustainable development of industrial processes
