Analysis of the German methodology assessing the social sustainability of housing projects

The project focuses on the topic of urban social sustainability (USS) and neighborhood social resilience (NSR) in context of housing from house to neighborhood scale and how the conceptualization of these concepts translates into architectural and urban design. The overall aim of this project is to cultivate a profound understanding of how the principles of Urban Social Sustainability (USS) and Neighborhood Social Resilience (NSR) can be translated into physical space, architectural structures, and urban configurations. By exploring these concepts, the project aims to contribute to the discourse on creating socially sustainable housing projects. The specific goal of the project is to gain a detailed knowledge of one of the German methodology designed to integrate USS or NSR into architectural and urban design practices, thereby promoting the creation of socially sustainable living environments.
