Problemstellung<\/strong><\/p>\n Eine nachhaltigere Ern\u00e4hrungsweise wird von vielen Experten und Expertinnen aus \u00f6kologischen Gr\u00fcnden stark empfohlen. \u00a0<\/p>\n II. Ziel<\/strong><\/p>\n Die Dissertation soll daher insbesondere analysieren,<\/p>\n 1. welche politischen Instrumente als legitim angesehen werden k\u00f6nnen,<\/p>\n 2. welche politischen Instrumente bereits weltweit umgesetzt sind und welche Effekte dies haben und<\/p>\n 3. welche politischen Instrumente dar\u00fcber hinaus m\u00f6glich und effektiv sein k\u00f6nnten.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n III. Ans\u00e4tze<\/strong><\/p>\n In dem Forschungsprojekt werden dazu in post-positivistischer Form sowohl normativ als auch empirisch-analytische m\u00f6gliche politische Instrumente zur F\u00f6rderung einer nachhaltigen Ern\u00e4hrungsweise analysiert.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n IV. Vorgehensweise<\/strong><\/p>\n a) normative Bewertung<\/strong><\/p>\n F\u00fcr die normative Bewertung werden die hierf\u00fcr relevanten politischen Theorien angewandt werden, insbesondere klassischer Liberalismus (z.B. Mill 1992), neoliberale Ans\u00e4tze (z.B. Weimer & Vining 2005), moderner Liberalismus (Beate R\u00f6ssler 2001) Kommunitarismus (z.B. Etzioni 1999) sowie moderne Gerechtigkeitstheorien. Aus diesen theoretischen Ans\u00e4tzen werden die jeweils legitimen Instrumente zur F\u00f6rderung einer nachhaltigen Ern\u00e4hrungsweise herausgearbeitet werden. Damit soll einem Pluralismus ethischer Theorien entsprochen werden.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n b) empirische Bewertung<\/strong><\/p>\n Im empirischen Teilen wird analysiert, inwiefern die herausgearbeiteten Instrumente bereits international (vgl. Reisch et al. 2011; Watterson et al. 2011) umgesetzt sind. Aus der Bandbreite dieser Instrumente werden dann Fallbeispiele f\u00fcr eine detaillierte Analyse ausgew\u00e4hlt. Dabei ist die im Jahr 2011 in D\u00e4nemark eingef\u00fchrte Fettsteuer ein Beispiel. Bei diesen Fallbeispielen werden insbesondere die Ursachen f\u00fcr die Einf\u00fchrung sowie die \u00f6kologischen Effekte erforscht.<\/p>\n Zudem sollen weltweit die nationalen Konsumtrends von Nahrungsmitteln analysiert sowie dabei nachhaltige Trends identifiziert und ausgewertet werden.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n V. Der Anteil von tierischen Produkten bildet dabei mit den gr\u00f6\u00dften Faktor f\u00fcr die Nachhaltigkeit einer Ern\u00e4hrungsweise (vgl. Foodwatch 2008). Daher wird in diesem Forschungsprojekt darauf der Fokus liegen.
Gegenw\u00e4rtige Trends und Zukunftsprognosen weisen nicht darauf hin, dass sich eine nachhaltige Ern\u00e4hrungsweise von selbst einstellt (vgl. Schlatzer 2011).
Dazu bedarf es politischer Instrumente, welche eine nachhaltige Ern\u00e4hrungsweise f\u00f6rdern.<\/p>\n
Dabei sollen bisherige Ans\u00e4tze zur Integration von normativer Policy-Analyse und empirisch-analytische Policy-Analyse (vgl. Fischer 1995, Burth 2010) weiter entwickelt werden.
Ziel ist eine umfassende Bewertung von politischen Instrumente zur F\u00f6rderung einer nachhaltigen Ern\u00e4hrungsweise.<\/p>\n
The amount of animal products in the diet is one of the important factors regarding the sustainability of diets (Foodwatch 2008). This is why my doctoral research study focuses on this aspect. According to current global trends and prognoses a less sustainable diet, a diet with more animal products, is more common (Schlatzer 2011). Therefore political instruments which support more sustainable diets are essential.<\/p>\n
1. Which instruments can be seen as legitimate options for encouraging a sustainable diet?
2. Which instruments are implemented worldwide, and what are their effects?
3. Which other instruments are possible and effective?<\/p>\n
This permits a comprehensive evaluation of the political instruments which can support more sustainable diets.<\/p>\n
In oder to evaluate political instruments normatively several relevant political theories will be used: a classic liberal approach (John Stuart Mill 1995), a neoliberal approach (Weimer & Vining 2005), a modern liberal approach (Beate R\u00f6ssler 2001) and a communitarian approach (Etzioni 1999).
Based on the assumptions of these political theories, the legitimate political instruments for the support of more sustainable diets are elicited.<\/p>\n
Next an overview of internationally implemented instruments will be developed (vgl. Reisch et al. 2011; Watterson et al. 2011). At least three cases will analyzed in more detail, with special attention to the effects and reasons for implementation; a possible case could be the implementation of the danish fat tax in 2011.)
Then the national consumption trends of the world will be analyzed specifically the sustainable trends.<\/p>\n
