In recent years, many graduates from various universities in the Czech Republic have applied for fellowships. A total of 133 fellowships have been awarded so far. Many fellowship holders come from the fields of engineering, geography and geosciences, but also from the fields of agriculture and forestry, land management and biology.
We would like to explicitly point out that applications from the social sciences, economics and law are also very welcome.
Dr. Krystina Rybova and Dr. Miroslav Bauer are the direct contacts for questions on site. They were DBU fellowship holders in the CEE fellowship programme and are in close contact with the DBU.
Please note that the online application procedure is available in both German and English.
In 2008, the Czech DBU Alumni Association was founded. The former fellowship holders offer to advise new applicants in the preparation of their application documents and in the preparation of the selection interview. The Alumni Association is also intended to be a communication platform for current and former fellowship holders and external interested parties as well as a docking point for linking with alumni associations of other countries of the DBU fellowship programme. In addition, there is an annual alumni meeting with the former Slovak fellowship holders together. The meetings always take place alternately in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Contact persons are Dr. Kristyna Rybova and Dr. Miroslav Bauer.
