DBU has promoted young Latvian scientists in this way since 2001. Our contact person in Latvia is the former DBU scholar Zane Upmane.

She organizes the annual selection sessions which mostly take place at the Riga Technical University.

In December 2009, the Latvian DBU Alumni Association was founded. Contact person is Dr. Darja Markova.
